Sehirbie Rouse was behind the wheel of an vehicle heading east when, for reasons still under investigation, he crossed into oncoming traffic and struck another driver, Prince George’s County Police said.
Officers responded to the 5400 block of Tuxedo Road at approximately 6:50 p.m. on Feb. 28, where they found Rouse seriously injured.
He was rushed to a nearby hospital, where he was pronounced dead a short time later, police said.
The driver of the second vehicle suffered what were described as minor injuries.
Investigators with the Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Unit are working to determine what caused Rouse to veer into the opposite lane.
